What do I need to bring in order to receive food? We ask that you bring a current photo ID/driver’s license and a current utility bill such as power, gas, water, etc. We will also accept a current lease/rental agreement if you are unable to bring a utility bill.
How often may I receive food? You can visit the Food Pantry and receive food one time per month.
Am I able to receive food outside of normal Food Pantry hours? Unfortunately, we distribute each week’s food during our normal operating hours and do not keep food on hand throughout the week. We also operate solely through volunteers who are only able to be here during normal operating hours.
Am I able to have food delivered to me? We are currently not staffed to make food deliveries.
What type of food will I receive? Each week our distribution depends on the donations we have received. We do our absolute best to distribute food evenly among families as determined by the size of the family. We cannot guarantee any certain items but typically have a variety.
Do you provide financial assistance? Due to the volume of requests we receive weekly for financial assistance, we do not offer monetary assistance and refer all requests to Cooperative Christian Ministry in Concord.
Where do I go once I get there and do I need to arrive early? When you arrive on our campus, drive around to the back of the McMurray Hall building. The Food Pantry is located down the steps through the double doors under the overhang. We do have people who arrive early to wait in line as early as 30 minutes to an hour beforehand. Please be aware that no one is permitted inside the building until the Food Pantry opens. Until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, we are currently offering drive-through pickup service.
